Geet - University of Nottingham

Hi, my name is Geet and I'm currently studying Industrial Economics at the University of Nottingham. I'm a hard working student who will complete work to the highest quality.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Customer Assistant at Waitrose: Provided amazing customer service. Helped all over the store in various departments occasionally multitasking. Gained experience in building relationships with co-workers. Multitasking has helped develop my time management skills as certain tasks e.g. picking a deliveroo order had to be completed in a set time.

  • Internship at PwC: Gained an insight into the operations of a large firm and tested new programmes such as a virtual park compiling a report on user experience.

  • Tennis Club: Assisted junior sessions which taught me skills such as patience and how to adapt to different situations.

SKILLS

  • Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms/Microsoft Word, Powerpoint: Confident in my ability to use these programmes having used them myself.

  • Proofreading: Whilst completing HPQ ( Higher Project Qualification) I had to proofread and edit through my 3000 word essay as well as critiquing and improving it.

  • Leadership: Having completed the sports leadership program where I had to plan and execute many hourly sessions of different sports in front of a class, I know how to take on responsibility.

  • Social Media: Comfortable using many social media apps.

  • Languages: Fluent in English and Gujarati.

I'm passionate and determined to help you achieve your outcome.
